Allan W. Eckert

One of the great ones recently passed from time. Here's a notice I received via email.

Eckert's The Frontiersmen, a historical narrative about the lives of Simon Kenton and Tecumseh, is one of my all-time favorite books. I know I've read it more than 5 times. He also wrote many other books about the American frontier.
