Our good friends from down in this country, Bobby and Debbie, were also at the CLA show and bought this huntboard from R.L. Darrall. Linda and I carried it home for them because they did not have covered room in their pickup. It has a curly maple top and a painted poplar case. The large drawers have hand-cut dovetails – half-blind at the front and through at the back. All of the work was done with period hand tools. It's a beautiful example of the work Butch is producing these days.
You can contact R.L. Darrall at traditionalcraftman@yahoo.com.
