Rob Miller Lanterns

These lanterns were reviewed in the Sept/Oct 2008 issue. Rob Miller uses aged metal and bubbled glass to create several styles of period lanterns. The one on the right is triangular and the one on the right has a round back. Both have a double cover over the vent at the top that helps to keep from burning your hand

  1. I have not seen any like this before, what period are they?

  2. According to Rob Miller, these are Colonial period lanterns. In fact, all of his lanterns are reproductions of original Colonial or early 19th century pieces.
